Pastors, Are You Close to Ministry Burnout?

You lead a ministry. It’s what God’s called you to do.

You love it.

At least you think you still love it.

Well, you know you loved it at one point in time.

Perhaps you are reading this and question whether or not you are called? This is a tricky season to navigate. It is confusing and frustrating when the very ministry to which you were called is the very source of the angst you feel.

One way to help clear away some of the fog is to do a simple assessment of whether or not you are experiencing burnout.* Here are two such locations on the web to do this kind of assessment. They help you look at burnout symptoms:

* Please be aware that this post is not meant to give psychological advice or treatment. If you are experiencing any kind of anxiety or stress or burnout, it’s best to seek the assistance of a trained professional in the field of counseling or other psychological field. Don’t try to get help from the web alone.
