Designed For Peace…

Good news. We are His people.

This verse is simple yet powerful. There are amazing promises in this verse. As children of God we are given promises and have access to all the blessings that Christ promised…

Today, you may have a mountain in front of you. You may have some big decisions to make. You may have a need in your life. Find comfort in this verse. Say it over and over to yourself in you need to. The truth is, in your weakness God can be your perfect strength. (2 Cor. 12:9)

You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to be strong enough on your own. Allow God’s strength to fill you up today. And once you allow his strength to take over, soak up His peace that He will give to you. I love what Matthew Henry’s Commentary says about this part of the verse…He says, “Peace is a blessing of inestimable value, which God designs for all his people.”

God promises to give you strength and peace. He designed it for you. They are yours. Take them.

It’s a simple reminder, but sometimes it is the simple truths that we often overlook.
